Forest Therapy Base Sasaguri
You can reach this base in around 30 minutes by car from Fukuoka City. Sasaguri is a commuter town that forms an urban area, but around 70% of the town is rich with greenery, surrounded by mountains. The “Sasaguri Shikoku” pilgrimage is famous as one of Japan’s three great Shikoku pilgrimages, along with Shodoshima (Kagawa Prefecture) and Chita (Aichi Prefecture). Amid the magnificent scenery stand 88 temples, and many people from across the country visit them in search of peace of mind.
There are a total of six courses on this walking road, which makes the most of the bountiful natural environment. Each course has its own characteristics, so choose whichever course you feel like doing.
