Forest Therapy Base Ukiha
Ukiha City is located in the south-eastern part of Fukuoka Prefecture. To its south stands the Mino Mountain Range, and the magnificent Chikugo River flows to the north. An expanse of fertile paddy fields lies in the Chikugo River basin, areas for fruit tree cultivation have been created at the foot of the mountains, and the mountainous area has forests that are also home to terraced rice fields and other features. The famous waters and stunning terraced fields fostered by this natural world are all counted in Japan's top 100. The area also retains charms from years past, including white-walled streets and traditional “kudozukuri” houses. If you are participating in a tour, please make a reservation on the official website up to one week before your trip.
