Mount Sarakura

皿倉山

Together, Mount Gongen, Mount Hobashira, and Mount Hanao make up Hobashira Nature Park; the area has also been designated Kitakyushu Quasi-National Park. During the day, visitors can see Kitakyushu City and the Wakato Narrows Bridge, while the nighttime offers a breathtaking panorama. Mount Sarakura is the northern starting point on the Kyushu Nature Trail.

About the Mountains: Highest peak - 622 meters (about 2040 feet).
Accessibility: Guide dogs permitted.
