Kama City Usui Peace Memorial Center
嘉麻市碓井平和祈念館
The Usui Peace Memorial Center uses easy to understand exhibits to show visitors the absurdity of war, while giving importance to human rights and life. There are exhibitions using war materials as well as the war-time experiences of Chimei Hamada. Also on permanent display in a part of the center is the ”Art and War” exhibit by artist Hiroyuki Sato.
The building is 968 square meters (10,419 square feet)
The building is barrier free: handicapped toilet and parking,guide dogs are permitted etc.
