Kurume is the birth place of Tonkotsu ramen. 11 ramen shops and 1 food stall including some well known shops are within 10 minutes walk from Nishitetsu Kurume station. Depart from Nishitetsu Kurume Station to explore ramen in Kurume.

Author Dan Kazuo praised Kurume ramen noodles as being the best in Japan! The heavy pork flavor and cloudy white color of its soup are the dish’s trademarks.
