The retro-style building located in the center of the Funagoya Hot Spring Village is the Funagoya Mineral Spring, a source of richly carbonated water said to be “bubbly enough to be a soda if you added suger”! Another of the mineral water’s characteristics is that it is high in iron, and many visitors from other prefectures come to the mineral spring just to fill up a thermos to take home!

*About the Spring Water: Contains iron, carbonic acid, magnesium, sodium carbonate; baths effective in treating neuralgia, sore muscles, and joint pain; drinking water effective in treating digestive diseases, anemia, gout, diabetes, and constipation.
