The House of Igura (Matsuda Old House)
居蔵の館
Igura no Yakata(The house of Igura) is a beautiful white walled house with plaster finishing that attracts public attention. This house, built at the end of the Edo era, was used as a branch family house of a landlord who made a fortune from producing candles. A lattice door was installed at the entrance of the house along the street. A living room with glass windows on the first floor, windows on the second floor covered by a iron door,a room with vaulted ceilings, and the extensive garden on the premises are unique. The house has been opened to the public since 1998. The house also has rooms for conferences and is used as various purposes.
Rental fee of a conference room: 60yen-160 yen per hour.
