Oyafuko (Unfilial Children’s) Street whose official name is Tenjin Yorozumachi Street is a district for free-spirited, sleepless young people. The unique name attracts people to the street. The origin of the name is simple. It is because two preparatory schools used to be at the end of the street and the students used to commute along it.
Most of stores and restaurants there provide reasonable products or delicious meals, so visitors can walk into the stores without hesitation. On the weekend many young people from all over Kyushu visit the street.
