Haki Shrine, famous for the marriage god

縁結びの神として有名な杷木神社

Haki Shrine is dedicated to komausagi, guardian rabbits, rather than the usual komainu lion dogs. It is said that the rabbit saved by Okuninushimikoto, the famous marriage god, served as an attendant so it is dedicated to komausagi. The big spring festival ”Chinsai” is held every year on March 23rd and the area also called ”Hakiichi” and traditional culture such as shamisen, drum, etc. is inherited from adults to children.
