Walk through a tunnel of rhododendrons at Mt.Inugatake
シャクナゲのトンネルを歩く 犬ヶ岳
This area where rhododendrons grow wild is designated as a natural monument of Japan, and every year in late April - early May when they bloom they become a tunnel of rhododendrons extending from Oizuruiwa up to the mountain summit.
Mt.Inugatake Parking Lot ~ Uguisudani Course ~ Mountain Summit ~ Osoroshibuchi Course ~ Mt.Inugatake Parking Lot. The course takes about 5 hours. Altitude 1,130m, total length around 8.5km.
※Beginners should take a detour around the climbing areas of Oizuruiwa.
