A station where you can see the ocean from the train platform.When the train climbs up the overpass here, it overlooks the tidelands of Shoe Inlet and the wide Buzen Sea. If the viewing conditions are right, you can see large boats navigating the Suonada and on the opposite shore of Yamaguchi Prefecture you can see the factories and smokestacks of Ube.
