Keiseki Shrine, which may even help with baby colic
夜泣きにも御利益がある鶏石神社
2017 is the Year of the Rooster. On regular festival days, many people from poultry farms and grocery stores visit this shrine.
It’s said that ’roosters” don’t crow at night” and it is thought that visiting this shrine may help with infants who cry at night (Keiseki means ’Rooster Stone’ in Japanese.) There is an Inari Shrine located right next to it, and there are stone statues of foxes there... and surprisingly, there are stone statues of roosters at Keiseki Shrine!
