Gingkos at Taibaru district
太原のイチョウ
A row of ginkgo trees, the symbol of the city, dyed in golden colors
The ginkgo tree, the symbol tree of Hirokawa Town, was selected from the public to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the town's incorporation and was designated as the town tree.
From mid to late November, when autumn deepens, the rows of ginkgo trees in the Taibaru district turn beautiful colors, turning the entire area into a golden hue. Many people visit every year to catch a glimpse of this breathtaking scenery.
When the colored leaves fall, the ground becomes like a carpet, adding to the beauty of the area.
This is private property, and the owner has graciously allowed us to visit.
