Kanayama Hydrangea Garden

金山アジサイ園

A popular new spot with approximately 7,000 hydrangeas in bloom

The Kanayama Hydrangea Garden is located in the northwest of the Tagawa Basin, roughly in the center of Fukuoka Prefecture.
It is located on a slope near the Chikuho-Kasuo Tunnel of the National Route 201 Iizuka-Shonai-Tagawa Bypass that crosses the Chikuho area.
It is a new landmark in Itoda Town that attracts many visitors from early June to early July, when about 7,000 hydrangeas of about 15 different colors, including blue, red, light purple, and white, are in full bloom. The garden, which is cared for by town volunteers, is a great photo spot with its variety of hydrangeas in full bloom.
The cherry blossoms, which bloom from late March to early April, are also a sight to behold.

Access ・About 15 minutes on foot from Nishitetsu Bus Sekinoyama/Nakamura Museum bus stop.
