At Tsurumigama Pottery, cute plateware which make people want to actually use it for dining are made. “Even while protecting the tradition, I want to produce Koishiwara potteries for daily use”, says the second owner, Mr. Yoshihiro Wada. He produces plateware for daily life such as plates with patterns like polka dots made using a plane and salad bowls colored riotously with brush design technique. The plateware which embodied Mr. Wada’s hope and dream are used at coffee shops and restaurants inside and outside Fukuoka Prefecture as well as in Toho Village and received well by many people.

*Pottery making workshop is also available (10 stands).
