Nakamura Museum
中村美術館
Nakamura Museum displays and stores about 1,300 pieces of art such as inkstone, glasswork, sculpture, ceramics as well as modern day western and Japanese paintings from artists such as Taikan Yokoyama, Ryuzaburo Umehara and Hazan Itaya. The museum has an extensive collective of beautiful works of French Art Nouveau artist Émile Gallé as well as the Daum brothers produced between 1880 through 1910. Along with gazing at the four seasons of the Japanese traditional garden Ike no Okuen, visitors can learn the culture of the area through Japanese artwork and artwork from overseas.
