A popular sweets shop in Fukuoka that proclaims itself a ‘professional processor of Amaou strawberries’.
From late November to the end of May, the ‘Dorayaki Doraking Doraking Namao’ (doraking with strawberries) and from the end of May to late November, the ‘Warabimochi Hakata Amabi’ (strawbaked rice cake with strawberries) are big sales.
The dorayaki is characterised by its chewy crust, and some visitors are surprised at how well it goes with strawberries. The Warabi-mochi is popular for its ‘wistful sweetness and taste’ achieved by mixing ‘Amaou strawberries’ and ‘Warabi-mochi’. Please enjoy the carefully crafted flavours.
The products will be on/off the shelves depending to the seasons.
