Japanese Traditional Restaurant AOGIRI
料亭あおぎり
The symbol of prosperous coal mining Akaganekoden (Copper palace). Featuring 100 years of history, Aogiri Restaurant is nationally registered tangible cultural property. The restaurant is comprised of a shoya-zukuri main building from the early Taisho period, and an annex constructed in Showa 9 (1934) that was used as a guest house for Harujiro Hayashida, the first mayor of Tagawa City. The thoughts and ideas of the times may be seen in every corner of the buildings. Together with the history and culture of Tagawa and the air and beauty of the four seasons, we welcome you from the bottom of our hearts.
