Ichiran, a natural tonkotsu ramen specialty restaurant, is "the company that continues to research tonkotsu ramen the best in the world.

Ichiran's "Pass Ramen" was created to support students who visit Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, where Sugawara Michizane, the god of learning, is enshrined, in order to bring them good luck and raise their luck.

Ichiran's special "Passing Ramen" is made with a tonkotsu (pork bone) broth that is completely free of any extra peculiarities and "59 (gokaku) cm" noodles, which are more than twice as long as usual to pray for a "long and happy life". The original "red secret sauce," which is made by mixing and aging more than 30 ingredients based on chili peppers, adds even more depth to the flavor.

Served in a pentagonal bowl (available only at this restaurant).
