Sake (Rice Wine) Museum
酒資料館
Established in 1745, the original Tomiyasu Honke Brewing Co. sake (rice wine) brewery is now on display to the public! The company belongs to an old-established family that has handed down the traditions and techniques of sake brewing since the feudal lord Nishimuta ruled the area some 500 years ago. About 200 sake brewing tools used in the ages when sake was made by hand are on display, and visitors can receive a tour if they want.
