Hiyoko is a brand of sweets born in Iizuka that wishes to have a factory that is helpful to everyone in the region. In addition to employment, at the Honami Factory there is an observation lane where visitors can see the production process for Hiyoko sweets. Many people come to visit the factory, including locals, visitors from outside the prefecture, as well as children from elementary schools and kindergartens. After you’ve seen the production line, you can enjoy taste-testing freshly made Hiyoko sweets.
