Manga Dive, organized by SHUEISHA XR, uses cutting-edge technology to expand the world of manga works throughout an entire space, immersing the audience in the manga. Since its debut at the Jump Manga Festival “Jump Festa 2023” (held in 2022), “Manga Dive” has been well received not only in Japan but also in New York and Taiwan, and will be held in Fukuoka for the first time.

The title to be screened at the Fukuoka performance is “Oshi No Ko” Super Immersive Live. The “Manga Dive” exhibit will be created by fully utilizing projection mapping and digital technology in the space with 360-degree view by 5 screens, 4 screens of wall surfaces and one floor surface. The characters of “Oshi No Ko” will come to life in this new manga experience that combines manga, music, and live entertainment.

“Oshi No Ko” was written by Akasaka Aka and Mengo Yokoyari and serialized in Weekly Young Jump magazine. Manga Dive “Oshi No Ko” was held in Nihonbashi, Tokyo from January 13 to February 16, 2024, and attracted many fans every day.
The highlight of the event is super-immersive live performance by “Shinsei B Komachi” under the theme of One Day Special Live of "Shinsei B Komachi". The powerful sound and vivid visuals will captivate visitors with the sensation of diving into the world of “Oshi No Ko”.

In the Story Dive Area, where images spread across five screens, there will be live MC performance using the original soundtrack recorded only for Manga Dive, as well as the song “Idol” by YOASOBI, which has been streamed more than 700 million times.

Additionally, you can bring your own or rent lightsticks and fans to join us in cheering on the “Shinsei B Komachi” live performance. Moreover, audience participation screenings will be held thanks to the fans who passionately requested it during the event at Nihonbashi, Tokyo. In these special screenings, you can enjoy the live performance even more by shouting, waving lightsticks, and performing fan chants. Through various performance styles, Manga Dive has been offering new kind of manga experiences.

English and Korean subtitles will be available twice a day (11:30 a.m./4:30p.m.).

Enjoy the live performance of “Shinsei B Komachi” with the original audio guide and live MC

At the venue, the character Aqua Hoshino will be the navigator of the audio guide. The voice actor Gou Otsuka, who portrays Aqua, will provide a voice-guided tour of the venue, featuring an original Manga Dive recording that can only be heard at this event. In addition, visitors can enjoy a variety of songs in the story dive area with a live MC by “Shinsei B Komachi,” also originally recorded for the event.
