将軍梅 梅祭り

The “Shogun” Plum Blossoms at Miyanojin Shrine have a more than 600 year history and are the largest plum blossom trees in the city. During the March festival, memorial services for the fallen warriors and children’s sumo wrestling matches take place amidst the fragrance wafting from the ancient trees.
