At this sundries shop, you are sure to find a small happiness for daily life.

HookTail refers to the way some cats develop a crook at the end of their tails, which looks like a hook.  Hook tailed cats, which are apparently quite common in Japan, are said to be able to catch and bring home good luck with their hooks.
The owner gave the shop this name out of their hope that visiting customers will get hooked here on some item that brings them a little joy to their daily lives. The shop carries selected ceramics and porcelain, household items to enrich your daily life, and cat and dog related items such as cat-themed ceramic items, postcards, and smartphone straps.
