This popular bakery is located close to the Kaeru (Frog) Temple. Their main selling point is the chewy and deeply flavorful batter, slowly fermented at low temperatures, with which they painstakingly bake their bread. In addition to the bread itself, even the sauces are handmade, producing a variety of breads with seasonal ingredients, such as the popular Salt Butter Rolls and Melon Pan bread. They typically sell out early on weekdays, but you can reserve an order of even a single item. The entrance to the shop offers a soothing view of Mt. Hanatate, so we recommend stopping by for a break during your cycling tour.
