This is the store of Kuradashi-mentai. The same facility also contains the restaurant Oshokuji-dokoro Nagomi.

This manufacturer of Mentaiko, or pollock roe, is made from only the freshest pollock roe nurtured in the great blue sea. They use a proprietary technique that involves aging and processing the roe for a period of 96 hours over three stages, to produce their own unique flavor. The adjacent restaurant Oshokujidokoro Nagomi offers meals mainly using the company’s products at a reasonable price. They also offer takeout items, such as their Mentai Croquettes or Mentai Balls, which we recommend for when you are a bit peckish. The restaurant is open 11:00 to 14:00 and closed Sundays.
