What is Kyushu Olle?
"Ollle" originated in Jeju Island, South Korea. Jeju Olle was created as a trekking course to enjoy the nature of Jeju Island. Originally, the word "Olle" means "a narrow alley leading from the street to the house" in Jeju. Kyushu has its sister version of "Kyushu Olle" and now has 18 courses in seven prefectures. Among them, there are six attractive courses in Fukuoka Prefecture. Enjoy the beautiful nature of the four seasons in the mountains suitable for trekking, and walk at your own pace with horse-shaped signs called "Ganse" and blue and red ribbons.

What kind of outfits are recommendable ?
Comfortable clothing and sportswear, not necessarily for mountain climbing, are acceptable! Since the event is held in March and the temperature usually reaches a high of 15°C and a low of 5°C, it is advisable to bring warm clothes that you can take off and put on.
Pack your luggage in a backpack and make sure you have room for drinks and souvenirs. Weather conditions can change, so be prepared with simple rainwear, an umbrellas or a kappa. Don't forget a map of the course. It is also a good idea to carry snacks and refreshments in your backpack so that you can take a break if the stores in the area are closed or if you get tired during the course.
