We provide one-stop support for the services you need to enjoy a cycling tour!

It is not easy to find each service and put together a plan, such as high-quality rental bicycles for long rides, cycling guides to experience all the highlights of unfamiliar areas and arranging a support car, to enjoy a group ride with peace of mind.

That's why the Fukuoka Tourism Federation has launched the "FUKUOKA Cycling Tour Concierge" to provide one-stop support for all of these services, depending on your tour needs.

We have a menu that can accommodate both BtoC (for individual travelers) and BtoB (for travel agencies)!

We also accept consultations and reservations for cycling guides, mainly JCGA (Japan Cycling Guide Association) certified cycling guides.
JCGA certified cycling guides are experts who have completed training programs and certifications to welcome people from Japan and abroad who want to enjoy cycling and support safe, secure and fun cycling.
In addition, depending on the needs of our customers, we actively take them into narrow back alleys that are "unique to cycling" from a cyclist's perspective and take them to scenic spots that cannot be reached by car.
Having a cycling guide is expected to increase the satisfaction of the tour!

For groups enjoying long rides, we recommend using a support car!
By having a support car accompany you, cyclists can enjoy cycling comfortably without carrying luggage, and you can buy souvenirs at each destination to take home.
In addition, you can operate the tour without worrying about supporting participants with different skills and dealing with bicycle breakdowns.
Currently, three companies operate support cars for cycling tours in Fukuoka Prefecture.

#Go to Fukuoka by road, sea, sky! We are going to support you to import your bike.

Fukuoka is attractive for its easy access from both domestic and international destinations.
By air, there are Fukuoka Airport and Kitakyushu Airport, by land, there is the Shinkansen (railroad), and by sea, there are ports such as Hakata Port, Shin-Moji Port, and Miike Port, so cyclists from outside the prefecture can bring their bikes.
To use airplanes and trains, you will need to disassemble your bike and pack it on the train.
We provide support for packing bikes for those who are worried about assembling and disassembling sport bikes, which have delicate parts, and those who are having trouble handling bike boxes and bags!

A “cyclist-friendly inn” where you can stay with your bike in peace

What is a “cyclist-friendly inn”?
These are accommodations that provide various services for guests, such as bringing bicycles into the guest room and lockable bicycle storage areas, in order to provide a safe and comfortable stay for those who tour around by bicycle.
If the facility allows guests to bring their own bicycles into the guest room, you can stay overnight while viewing their beloved car!
A variety of hotels are registered, from those in urban areas to those in traditional Japanese-style houses that offer hideaways!

#Bike Festival! We are going to support you to enter the big cycling event.

We support group entries for large-scale cycling events held in Fukuoka Prefecture.
We also cater to the needs of bicycle rentals and cyclist-friendly accommodation!

The Kitakyushu Cycle Festival, which began in 2022, will be held for the third time on November 17 2024, and participants are currently being accepted!
The event starts at the Kitakyushu Media Dome (the birthplace of keirin, a 400m indoor bank that is the largest in Japan), and covers the longest course of 100km, passing through Hiraodai, Kitakyushu Airport Link Bridge, Mojiko Port, and more.
This time, many cyclists from Taiwan are expected to participate!

The Tour de Asakura is a historic event that has been held a whopping 45 times, counting from its predecessor, the Century Run.
The next event is scheduled to be held on March 16, 2025! Starting from the Kirin Beer Fukuoka Factory, the tour will cover a wide area including Kurume City, Tachiarai Town, Ukiha City, Asakura City, Toho Village, and Chikuzen Town. There are three courses to enjoy the Asakura Road in early spring: the Expert Course, which is the longest at 117km and has two peaks at altitudes of 500m and 400m, and the Family Course, which is 42km long and has an altitude of 30m and visits the Waterwheel Village and Honey Farm.
